All new features are toggleable if you want the old school experience.

Global queue that's visible on the UI. When selecting a building (or several) that's creating something you can see the progress as a second "health bar" kind of thing.

Command queueing (villager shown to first build then mine gold when he's done).

Cuman UU is called Keshik.

Camel was renamed Camel Rider.

Fourth trainable unit in stable (for Cumans at least). 

Auto renew farms

When selecting your army, if you include villagers/sheeps by mistake, the game understands that and will only select the army, excluding the vills/sheeps.

You can zoom in and zoom out, however they didn't show how much they could zoom out.

Cysion (Cysion AoE'nin unofficial CM'si gibi bişe. Forgotten Empires'ta Developer olarak çalışıyodu. Tabii artık AoE2DE için çalışıyor.) confirmed on AoEZone that Aoe2 DE multiplayer will have a "server-based model".

I'll try to respond to a few things in this thread:

Multiplayer: MP has been completely ripped out and built from the ground up, to be a server-based model. However, to know where we are exactly on MP, we need the community's input through the multiplayer beta. That beta will start soon and you can sign up through ageofempires.com.

Pathfinding: I totally messed up during that video with the attack move, had various melee units in defensive/stand ground mode. We're experimenting with a setting which sets default stance for units to defensive and I forgot to turn it off. (note: this is optional, not forced)

As many people mentioned: new QoL features are there to raise the skill cap, not lower it. Except we move the skill to the actual core of the game (strategy, execution), away from the ability to deal with the UI quickly. Or in other words: less fighting the UI, more fighting the enemy.

Price point of Age2DE is $19.99, with a $5 discount for people who own HD. Bringing it down to $14.99.

Lan Ubisoft... Goduumun For Honor'ına 2 yıl Dedicated server getirmedin. Hem de o kadar ihtiyaç olmasına rağmen. Microsoft sorunsuz çalışan AoE2 p2p'sine launchta server getiriyor.

@sanssizsansli Abi gamespeedin ne olacağı konusunda cevap vermiyorlar. HD 1.5 hızında. Voobly 1.7 hızında. Bence 1.6 olsun. Kimsenin istediği olmasın.

Voobly'nin arayüzü kötü ama şu anda en stabil oyun vaadeden platform. Steam öldü.

Yalnız voobly'de bile ciddi bir kesim expansionlara (Wololo kingdoms) geçti. Çoğu illegal geçti ama olsun. cCcTÜRKLERcCc tayfası bile WK oynuyo artık.

20 küsür gün kaldı zaten DE'nin çıkmasına. Kodumun betası gelmedi hala bana. Gerçi bu bilgisayarla nasıl oynucam hiç bir fikrim yok. 10 fpsle takılırım artık ?
