JW: The original scene was that he (Thor) went to speak to the Norn and how it would work is he goes in the pool, and the Norn possess him, basically. And Erik Selvig asks all the questions and the Norn speaking through Thor gives the answers.
JW: So Chris got to do something that was very different and he really threw himself into it. And he did a beautiful job. It wasn't well-regarded by the test audience and I feel it's probably largely because it was a rough cut, no effects and all that good stuff, but also it's something that you know, in a Thor movie probably would work brilliantly. In this movie it is maybe just a little too left to center.
JW: Thor is always the hardest guy to integrate. I loved it, because originally it's like Thor working through library books and it really didn't have anything visceral, and I came up with this, I was like this is a huge win, because it's about Thor getting answers, but he doesn't have to ask the questions. He's the guy giving the answers.
JW: And he gets to do something as an actor. And he takes his fucking shirt off so everybody wins! It's amazing how many people happened to be on set that day!
JW: I do feel that they threw out the baby with the pond water. Because I think it was about, you know, trying to set it up, so people will accept it when it happens. But instead we split the dream up and then we had Loki in the second part of the dream. And they're like, well, that doesn't work, we don't wanna introduce Loki now this late.
JW: The dreams were not an executive favorite. The dreams, the farm house, these were not the things that they wanted... these were things I fought to keep. With the cave it really turned into a, you know, they pointed a gun at the farm's head and said 'give us the cave or we'll take out the farm'.
JW: That's when it got really unpleasant. There was a point where there was gonna be no cave, and Thor is just gonna leave and come back and say "oh yeah, I figured some stuff out." And I was so beaten down at that point and I was like 'sure...ok'. But the editors were like 'you can't just say the thing, you have to show it.' And I'm like 'ok, thank you!'. So yeah, you can tell it was beaten down.
JW: In Thor's dream, I thought, 'who's gonna sort of walk him through his dream? Ah, it's gonna be Tom! It's Loki, he's so important to the mythos.'
JW: And they're like, we can't get Tom, we can't make a deal. You can have Idris.' I'm like 'Awesome! I love Idris!' And I talk to Tom, I was like 'just so you know, I feel bad about not telling you... I would never pressure you, but I really feel like it would be rad if you could do this.' And he's like 'Sure!'. But we already have Idris and I'm like 'again, I have no problem here! Everybody's in!'
JW: And we even had a little reference to the fact that he's taken the throne. Which was Tom doing his Anthony Hopkins impression and Thor says 'Oh, what would father say?' And then he does his Hopkins impression and Thor's like 'that is uncanny'. And it's sort of like his subconscious is telling him 'that wasn't your father!'
JW: Anyway, the dreams were awfully long. I only got a day to shoot each dream, but I made the most out of them. There's a lot of fun stuff, but I think that at the end of the day, the movie should have been maybe two minutes longer. Just to let a few things breathe a bit more. But I do think it's about where it should have been in terms of running time and in terms of the events. I do think that I stuffed it a bit full.

birde son sahnede yeni avengerları gösterirken Spider Man ve Captain Marvel'ı da koymak istemişler de yetiştirememişler castingi.
