That is, in fact, what it looks like in the final stages of cooking pharmaceutical-grade methamphetamine -- it looks disturbingly like a boiled sugar confection. (There's a reason why the prop team uses rock candy as a stand in.) There are several other styles of preparation, including the "shake 'n bake" style, which leave you with vastly less pure product, but Walt as a trained chemist would never in a million years indulge in that kind of corner-cutting.

At the DEA's request, the show has never portrayed every single phase of the cook with complete, do-it-yourself clarity, but they've had multiple conversations with DEA chemists who have both walked through real-life labs and who make the substance in house for analysis purposes. The most fictional aspect of the cook is that, in real life, people do not look as cool as Walt and Jesse do in their hazmat suits, and there is no amazing song playing in the background. Everything else is as accurate as production designer Mark Freeborn can make it.

ben de 5 sezonu bir çırpıda izleyenlerdenim, zaman zaman sinemaya yaklaşmış etkili bir yapıt olmuş. Tabi 3. ve 4. sezon bir bütün olarak çok lazım değil( güzel bölümleri olsa da). Son 8 bölüm ise bomba gibi, insan durduramıyor izlemeyi.
