Hello, today we’d like to give you some tricks and tips on how to improve EU5 performance for systems that have lower hardware specs.

There is a large variety of configurations that people have, and it’s worth noting our recommended/minimal requirements do not use these tricks for measurement. So we hope you find these tricks helpful if you’re below the recommended specs and would like to boost your FPS.

It’s important to note that EU5 utilizes predefined graphical settings. In the first part this post we’ll suggesting individual tweaks to the Ultra preset that may lead to considerable performance improvements on your system with a minimal-to-no loss of visual fidelity.

Let's start off with anti-aliasing. Our recommendation is to use the FXAA method for its very cheap performance cost. It does the job well for the game, but if you do not like some of the objects becoming slightly blurrier because of it, we can suggest at least scaling down MSAA from x8 to x2. Scaling the MSAA method up is very heavy on your graphics card while providing little to no benefit to the image sharpness in EU5.

neyse upscaling koymuşlar bu sefer iyi bari. framegen'i direkt ekleselerdi keşke ama smooth motion nvidia için düzgün çalışıyor neyse ki. amd kartı olanlar için kötü ama.
