Computer gamers have staged a revolt after the gravity-defying breasts of characters in a popular game were suddenly reduced.


Fans of the Age of Conan role-player game besieged internet forums with complaints after noticing that their custom-built characters had dropped several bra sizes.


Many were angry that their previously pert avatars - which they had spent hours creating into icons of exaggerated femininity - now appeared to have "saggy" breasts.

Some players even threatened to withdraw their subscriptions to the online game, claiming that the Norwegian makers Funcom were censoring their buxom characters.

"If this isn't fixed in a reasonable amount of time, ie a day or two, I will be un-subscribing," one player, calling himself Dusk, wrote on the game's official forum.

Multi-player fantasy games like Age of Conan are particularly popular among teenage boys, but even some of the game’s female players were upset at the unannounced change.

"Funcom did reduce the size of the breasts. There is almost no cleavage, just a flat area between them. And YES they do sag," a player called Krystal wrote.

Amid growing anger at the sudden change in the game, which was only launched last month, Funcom decided to act.

In a message posted on a gamers' forum, it said that the maximum breast size had been reduced in error during a programming alteration carried out to fix other bugs.

It also promised that all affected characters would soon be re-enlarged

"Funcom can confirm that some of the female models in the game have had the size of their breasts changed," the statement said.

"This is due to an unintended change in data that was introduced in an earlier patch, data which controls the so-called morph values associated with character models and the size of their respective body parts.

"We are working on a fix for this and your breasts should be back to normal soon."

A Funcom spokesman said today that a patch correcting the problem was sent out to players on Monday, and everything should now be working normally.

Age of Conan was touted as a "next generation" multiplayer role play game ahead of its release on PC last month.

Players pay around £7.50 ($15) a month to explore the "Hyborian kingdoms", fighting other gamers and completing tasks. More than one million copies of the game were sold worldwide within three weeks of its release.

Massive Mammaries – Hyboria and the Female Form

This post, dear gentlemen, and especially you ladies out there, concerns the female form in AoC and player character customisation during character creation. Specifically, this post is all about the boobies. In the odd chance tits are something you're not interested in, I suggest you read on anyway. Should worst come to worst, this will only be marginally more tedious than the workday you're having.

I was prompted to tackle the weighty issue of boobage by the recent patch introduced by Funcom, which inadvertently caused the chest area of some of the female models to shrink. Funcom, quick as ever to fix what is potentially a game-breaking anomaly for a substantial portion of their player base, fired up the good old C64 and set to work coding a patch that is sure to put many a mind at ease. In the near future, or so I've been led to believe, D-cup will again be the minimum requirement for a certified adventuress in Hyboria. All is well again, as the sun sinks over the unyielding Eiglophian Mountains. Or is it?

As I've played my Bear Shaman these past few days, I've come to appreciate her new and improved proportions. She seems sleeker, more athletic and far less likely to keel over should a gust of wind catch her unawares. Granted, despite my best efforts at character creation, she still looks far too buxom to wield anything heavier than a handbag without risking serious back injury. I keep telling myself that her armour most likely offers substantial back support, since it's reinforced with metal plates, yet I find my disbelief equally hard to suspend as the minimum cup size in this game. Sometimes too much is just too much.

Now, judging by the general feel of art direction in AoC, Funcom's vision of Hyboria seems to evolve around epic proportions. All aspects of Hyboria from architecture to its inhabitants, including some aforementioned parts of the human anatomy, are larger than life. This certainly includes bulging biceps, big pecs, big breasts and big swords. But in their single-minded pursuit of those qualities that transcend the mundane, Funcom appear to have overlooked the single most epic quality any MMO could possibly possess: freedom of choice.

At the risk of sounding overtly political in a matter concerning purely subjective aesthetics, I'll venture to say that I'm pro choice when it comes to boobies. I firmly believe in the individual's right to choose the amount of boobage to bestow his or her avatar. This, in my humble opinion, should cover all the heavenly possibilities of the human anatomy, from the wonderfully athletic and enticing A to the ample vastness of gigantic H, and even beyond.

Yet when I created my character during early access, the obstinate slider that controls the female chest area stoutly refused my commands to make breasts any smaller than those approved by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Tiny titties, it seems, are out. So too, are humongous funbags. Try as I might, the slider would not allow mammaries that require a forklift and a three-man team to manoeuvre. Needles to say, I felt dismayed and homogenized. Mine was to be a carbon copy of every other female avatar, with a bustier that had a "Hyboria Approved" sticker attached to the only cup size known in Hyborean times, the Crom-ordained D.

I was creating a Bear Shaman, so I refused to be disheartened by the lack of choice. I do, however, feel genuinely sorry for those players that hoped to create an athletic assassin, or perhaps an emaciated necromancer. In Hyboria, it seems, female necromancers receive their tutelage under the greatest necromancer of them all, Hugh Hefner.

Jesting aside, I'm aware of the various difficulties in granting players absolutely free reign in customising their characters. Vast proportional changes to the underlying model cause graphical difficulties with skin textures, such as clipping with different armours. Despite this, there are NPC's in the wonderful world of Hyboria with enviably petite titties. I'm sure most of you have done the quests concerning a mysterious assassin called "The Raven". One of those quests leads you to Khemi, where you meet an NPC by the name of Tali. All sexism aside, she looks like she could actually assassinate someone, and not just lap dance them to death. Another example of a reasonable rack can be found in the settlement of Dinog in the Eiglophian Mountains. If memory serves, there's a barbarian lass attired in rather revealing garments considering the snowy clime. Her name is Elina, or something to that effect.

These proud ladies are just two examples of a different kind of Hyboria; a wonderful place where breasts of all shapes, sizes and denominations are allowed to coexist, and individuality isn't crushed under the oppressive weight of the D-cup. I know the day might be far off, but I'm fervently hoping that sometime in the future, a lone survivor will wash up on the shores of Tortage armed with nothing but her wits and the dazzling beauty of a perky B. That is the day I toast to Funcom's continued success, and roll my first alt.

P.S. At the risk of labouring the point, I feel a slight disclaimer is in order: I'm lobbying for a wider scale in breast size during character creation. All value judgements in my post are based on subjective aesthetic preferences, and are not an attempt to dictate how others should approach their avatars, or indeed, life. I'm merely asking for more options, pure and simple.

Furthermore, having just survived the relatively painless yet annoying grind from 57 to 60, I would wholeheartedly agree with those of you that say boobies should be quite a way down on Funcom's "to do" list. They have their hands full with squashing bugs, optimizing the engine, tuning classes and adding more content. They have no time to fondle funbags right now. But one can always hope, right?

niye böyle birşey yapmışlar ama oyun zaten içerdiği vahşet,şidder yüzünden +18 değilmiydi ? Eğer yaptıklar oyunun atmosferini bozuyorsa şaçmalık geliyor bana......
