In a new interview, Kamome Shirahama shared her reaction to Witch Hat Atelier being called part of the “Big 3” of fantasy alongside Delicious in Dungeon and Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End.

Interestingly, this was the first time she had heard that label, even though the hype keeps growing, especially after the anime adaptation was announced. She also said she genuinely enjoys both series and feels honored to be in the same lineup.

And now that the Witch Hat Atelier anime is already airing, it shows how strong the fantasy scene is right now, with creators supporting each other instead of just competing.

“I actually honestly enjoy reading the Delicious in Dungeon and Frieren, personally. I read the manga as well as watch the anime so it’s quite an honor to be in a lineup with such a big titles together.”
