The 320M graphics card is better than the 5470. The 320M is based on a 9600GT graphics card, which is faster and has more processing cores than the 5470. However, the differences between these graphics card should not be that big, i'd say you should expect a 5% difference in performance.

However, in the two laptops that you have listed, the first (k50ID) has a processor which is considerably worse than the i5.

All in all, both should perform similarly in games, although the K50, which has the faster 320M card, will run more smoothly. Nonetheless, the K52 is a better laptop on the whole because the processor is much superior, and this extra level of performance will be important in other applications e.g. video editing.

If you are really looking for a good laptop consider the Acer 5740G with a 5650 graphics card, this should provide you with enough graphics power to run Assassins Creed 2 or MW2 at full res and medium settings.
