Gravity bone


Gravity Bone is a short standalone game powered by the Quake 2 engine, in which players assume the role of a secret agent who has to undertake a couple of mission-based objectives to advance the story. There are only two short levels to play, and the entire adventure takes about twenty minutes or so to complete.

The game comes in a zip file, no installation is required, and the original Quake 2 is not needed to run it

It's not often that a freeware game can truly be called a masterpiece but Daniel Remar has finally released Iji, an action platformer with touches of RPG, in which you control a female heroine with a whole lot of engineered superhuman abilities. What makes this game so good is the sheer of polish that has been put into the production and the large amount of choices there are to make. You can choose what abilities to level up with, whether or not to bother killing enemies and the path you take through each sprawling area, which can effect the outcome of the unfolding story.[1]

Iji is an action platformer which took Daniel Remar four years to make, where players assume control of the titular character as she learns how to cope with waking up to find her world taken over by an alien race. Guided by her brother who speaks through the research complex's loudspeaker system, she has to find a way to convince an alien leader to retreat and save humankind from total annihilation.

Iji's skills can be upgraded by acquiring nanofields left behind by the aliens, then spent on cyborg stations to increase any of her seven basic stats. You can only acquire a maximum of five nano points per sector, and one nano point is awarded whenever your nano gauge reaches its limit.

Progress is saved automatically after the completion of each Sector, but not before boss fights. This is also one of the very few games which offers multiple storyline paths in relation to how much the player resorts to violence when dealing with the adversities they face. There are ten sectors to play through in total, not inclusive of the secret level which can only be unlocked once certain requirements have been fulfilled.

3u oynamadim, uzaktan baktim sadece, o yuzden bilemiyorum, (1 ve 2ye de cok az bakmistim baya once), ama 4 kacmamali kesinlikle. hem maclari cok cok zevkli, hem de strateji yonu harika. tek kotu yani 2 lig sectigim halde bazen yuklemeleri cm ve fm gibi abarti oluyo.

genelde indie oyunlarda, ozellikle tek kisinin gelistirdigi indie oyunlarda bi amatorluk bi eksiklik olur ya, iste bunda o yok. bastan sona herseyiyle olmus bi oyun yahu. indirip oynamak lazim kesinlikle.

sandalot games'ten serinin 3. oyunu. casual bi simulation, yine vahşi batıda geçiyor ve yine şehir yönetimi ile hero karakterimizin görevleri içiçe geçmiş durumda..

Pros:Intuitive approach to real-time strategy. Sparkles with personality. Overall production values. High degree of replayability. Depth and challenge. Lots of little surprises to discover.
Cons:Repetitive sound bytes. Scattershot difficulty. Pathfinding issues. Can’t speed up the action. Next steps not always clearly defined. Necessary time commitment.

millet grafikleri çok beğenmemiş, ben dert etmedim açıkçası. görevlerde bazen ne yapacağınızı anlamayabiliyorsunuz. bazı bölümler cidden sıkıcı olabiliyor. sandbox seçeneği var. oyun saran bi oyun ve 6-10$ arası bişi sanırım.

şimdilik katı sıvı var ama gaz ve patlamalar yok.. ama o da olacak =)

o demoscene turnuvası oyunu olduğu için pixel shader 3,0 falan istiyordur garanti :) adamlar paso kulağı ters taraftan gösterip hayvan gibi grafikleri min konfigrasyon ve basit şeylerde kullanılmayan şeylerle vs yapıyorlar.

ama çok şık lan böle kare kare :)

exactly one year ago i made an executable procedural graphic and video
called ixaleno, which i liked. people asked when such imagery would be
realtime, and i was answering "today", as i have already seen terragen
quality landscapes, completely procedural, in opengl. the point really
was would it be doable in 4 kilobytes. i experimented and concluded it
was. and i stoped playing with it.

but then mentor asked me what's up and i showed him some of the images
while saying it was slightly too big for a full 4k intro, and not good
enough for a 64k. he replied "what about a collaboration and we make a
4k with it?".

he ported it to dx, he added his synth, he spoke to puryx and few days
after we had a tune, then the code got mentorized to dead and before i
could realize we were apparently making an intro! mentor did some more
mentorization and added support for gnu-rocket (hey, have a look to it
as it's very cool!). i reworked the rendering, then the camera system,
and script, and finally for two weeks we fought against the entropy.

as for my part, i'm sure rendering could have been better, but perhaps
i should instead learn for once that 4k is just 4096 bytes. dunno. but
anyway i'm happy with the intro. the tune is fantastic. not to mention
that working with mentor has been a superb experience.

it's little more than one day for the party now. we haven't slept much
last nights and we are quite tired in fact. but we will be in time for
the deadline, so we will enjoy the party!

believe it or not, this was running at 30 fps in a gefoce 7900 at some
point, but size optimizations forced us to ask you for a pretty decent
graphics card, like a geforce 8800gtx or hd4850. please, make sure you
have d3d9_33.dll somewhere there. also, you only need windows xp.

we are providing the following versions of the intro:

elevated_1024x768.exe (letterboxed)
elevated_1280x720.exe
elevated_1280x1024.exe (letterboxed)
elevated_1440x900.exe (letterboxed)
elevated_1920x1080.exe
elevated_1920x1080_hq.exe

the last version (hq) contains more geometry than the others. only for
those who have monster machines or are living in the future.
