There are two types of time paradoxes: Preventative and Causational.

An example of a preventative paradox is going back in time and killing your past self or preventing your own birth. This act prevents you from doing it, which means that your existence from a certain point onwards (or at all) isn't prevented after all, which means you do go on to do it, which means you don't, which means you do, which... you get the idea. Basically, a time travel related action which automatically prevents itself causes a preventative paradox.

A causational paradox, on the other hand, is a time travel related action which causes itself. For example, imagine receiving an object from your future self. After your future self returns to his own time, you promptly travel back a short distance in time to give your past self that object, after which you return to your own time. Although everything might seem nice and simple from your own point of view, imagine what it would be like from the object's point of view. The object's personal timeline would be infinite, with no beginning and no end. It would only have an earliest point and a latest point, both relative to the timeline of the universe it's in. It needn't be a physical object, either. It could be something abstract, like an idea.

Will either of these kinds of paradoxes be implemented in the game?
