Alleviation, Blessed Hammer of the Lightbringer
Binds when picked up
Two-Hand Mace
223 – 303 Damage Speed 3.80
(69.4 damage per second)
+32 Stamina
+28 Intellect
+13 Spirit
+15 Fire Resistance
Classes: Paladin
Requires Level 60
Durability 120/120

Equip: Restores 12 mana every 5 seconds.
Equip: Increases healing done by magical spells and effects by up to 83.
Use: Transforms Alleviation, Blessed Hammer of the Lightbringer into Deathriser, Reckoning of Unbridaled Wrath.

Equip: Increases your chance to get a critical strike by 2%.
Equip: Increases damage done by magical spells and effects by up to 54.
Use: Transforms Deathriser, Reckoning of Unbridaled Wrath into Alleviation, Blessed Hammer of the Lightbringer.

A Paladin’s Choice

Xxxxx, it is time for you to proclaim your mightiest of weapons from the forces of evil in this world. Should you wish to know more about what must be achieved to own a weapon of such power, speak to me again.

Quest Objectives
Speak to Lord Grayson Shadowbreaker again to learn what you will face in this quest.



The Trial Begins

Xxxxx, I am pleased to see you are willing to undertake such a task, though be warned, victory will not be achieved without great peril and many sacrifices. The first part of your quest requires great strength be shown through highly dangerous odds. Araj the Summoner still blights the Ruins of Andorhal, and must be defeated quickly. You will require four more warriors of the light in your quest to vanquish this foul undead, and more bravery than a Paladin has ever given. Return t me with the soul of Araj when you have defeated this monster.

I wish you good luck xxxxx, may the light be with you.

Quest Objectives
Defeat Araj the Summoner with a group of five paladins and bring Araj the Summoner’s trapped soul to Lord Grayson Shadowbreaker in Stormwind Cathedral.

On completion
Xxxxx, you have fought valiantly in the face of danger, and have also taken the first steps towards the power of wielding True Light.



The Second Test

Xxxxx, I see you feel you are ready for the second test of the True Light. Very well. There is more evil in this world to vanquish, powers of evil so unspeakable that they require darkly forces to even be ale to fight them. You will have to face many demons and undeads in these trials. You must acquire the souls of Lord Kazzak in the Blasted Lands, Baron Rivendare in Startholme, Death Knight Darkreaver in Scholomance and, though this may seem unusual, the head of Onyxia. When all these are combined they form a powerful mystical energy, the like of which few Paladins have ever seen.

These challenges will test you to your limits and beyond xxxxx, do not fear that you may fail, my noble brother, and embrace the True Light to lead you the way.

Quest Objectives
Defeat Lord Kazzak in the Blasted Lands, Baron Rivendare in Startholme, Death Knight Darkreaver in Scholomance and acquire their trapped souls, and the head of Onyxia and bring them back to Lord Grayson Shadowbreaker in Stormwind Cathedral.

On Completion
Xxxxx, you truly are a Paladin of the True Light. I salute you sir!



The Final Test

Xxxxx, I have combined all the doomed souls you have collected into this Celestial Orb made from the Head of Onyxia. This was necessary due to the power of the energies contained within the slain souls you have gathered. There remains only one final test before the weapon of the Paladin of True Light can be given to you. Journey to Uther’s Tomb near Sorrow Hill in the Western Plaguelands and place this orb at the memorial statue of Uther. There you will face your final test. Bring back the Seal of True Light to me Good luck noble Paladin.

On Completion
Xxxxx, you are a now a Paladin of the True Light. I grant thee your reward that you have strived so long for and overcome great difficulties. I salute thee again, mighty Paladin! May Uther’s soul rest once again.

Notes about the tests

Araj the Summoner must only be defeated by five paladins, you cannot have any other classes help you. Baron Rivendare and Death Knight Darkreaver must be defeated in five man groups, while Lord Kazzak can be raided. Onyxia can also be raided. In the final test, you must s
