BlackRose Mesaj tarihi: Aralık 7, 2004 Paylaş Mesaj tarihi: Aralık 7, 2004 To begin your tradeskill journey, visit assistant Dreak who is on the isle of refuge. You can find him inside Malvonicus' Tower, He will give you a quest to go in the cellar (right next to him) and clean up the mess down there. During this quest you will learn how to harvest items, basically by clicking on them. After you clean up the mess visit Dreak again and he will offer you another quest to make a tin spike. Go back in the cellar and you will now see every different type of crafting device. These are: Forge, Sewing Table and Mannequin, Workbench, Woodworking Table, Engraved Desk, and Chemistry Table. Each device requires a different type of fuel: Coal, Filament, Sandpaper, Incense, or Candles. To bring up the recipe's you already know hit your B button, that will list each item you can make. You can also go up to each device and double click on it and it will list the items you can make at that device. Go up to the Forge and double click on it, it will show that you can make a tin bar and a tin spike. A tin Spike requires a Tin bar to make, so make the tin bar first, then proceed to make the Tin Spike. The items you need to make each item is listed when you examine the item, and also when you click you want to click on each item. Make the spike and return to Dreak. You are now rewarded with a bag, and level 3 artisan. In order to obtain new recipes you have to do several things. First you can visit Batoompa Lumberfist inside the Big Bend crafting zone (for freeport characters) to purchase books for each level. He only provides certain books. The other books you will need are dropped from monsters. For example from level 3-9 your crafting merchant will sell one book for each level called artisan essentials 3-9. These you must purchase, but you can only scribe them when your artisan level corresponds with the level of the book. So if you are level three and buy the level 9 book you can not scribe it until you are level 9 in crafting. The same rule applies for all mob dropped books also. From level 3-9 there are certain books you must obtain from either adventurers selling them, or you killing monsters for them. These books are as follows: Artisan refining volume four Artisan components volume 5&6 Artisan escutcheon volume 6 Artisan machinists volume 7 Artisan Leather armor volume 7 Artisan cloth armor volume 8 Artisan weapons volume 8 Artisan arcana scrolls volume 9 Artisan stratagem volume 9 There are also separate books needed for levels 10+. At level 10 (you can do this prior to level 10) you can choose the crafting path you want to go. These paths consist of Craftsman (at level 20 can choose from provisioner, woodworker or carpenter), Outfitter (at 20 can choose from armorer, weaponsmith or tailor) and Scholar (at level 20 can choose from Jeweler, sage, or alchemist). However, you have to get to level 10 in order to do this, so lets discuss how to craft. How To Craft You have already made one tin bar, and one tin spike, but now you need to figure out how to utilize what is called ?events? and ?buffs?. Press the K key on your keyboard. This brings up the knowledges tab. Click on the tab that says Tradeskills. Here you will see many icons you can hotkey to not only make better items, but to counter certain events that can kill you. Yes, You Can Die While Crafting... Here's How You Avoid That During your crafting sessions certain messages will appear that you need to counteract or else take an hp hit or a quality hit to your item. These messages appear in the lower box underneath the bars that describe the quality of the item (pristine, (no title), shaped, crude etc...), and above where it says repeat or stop. These messages are: EVENTS COUNTERACTS Day Dreaming Snap Out Mislabelled Materials Work With It Bad Measurement Readjust Noisy Distraction Block Hearing Wrong Ingredients Positive Backlash Loss of Concentration Regain Composure In order to counteract the event you must hit the hotkey that corresponds to the event within a few seconds otherwise you will lose health, or your item will lose some quality. There are also ? buffs ? for each crafting station you can use to make your item better (pristine being the best you can get). These buffs take a certain amount of power to use (the blue bar). Each buff does something different and only certain buffs work for certain devices. You can figure out which is for what by examining it. Each buff can be placed in a hotkey also to make it easier for you to craft.
