The first fun anecdote of the morning came when one of the show attendees yelled out "Ok everyone, let me entertain you while we wait" and then began to perform the default non-entertainer /dance moves in the middle of the crowd. Not only was it funny as hell, but he also did all the moves exactly correct. Scary! I think I've seen this guy in the Kor Vella Starport at least once or twice… .... each SWG Dev Staff member is wearing a shirt which has the words "Lazy Dev" printed on the back of the shirt in Aurebesh. ... We got to see them activate god mode and watch Pex set his run multiplier to some insane number. You've never seen anything funnier than watching someone with their run multiplier set to 8x. Pex did us the favor of zooming out so we could see what it looked like. Imagine seeing a robed character running like he was the 6 Million Dollar Man. If that wasn't funny enough, he was passing up all the guild members who were all on swoop bikes. And he was passing them while running backwards so we could watch them! So we got the $6M man running backwards leaving a bunch of swoop bikes in his dust. Yeah, I think that warrants a laugh even if you weren't there. ... one of the stormtroopers actually had his helmet mic'd so people could hear him talk in the reasonably authentic squakbox mode we are so used to hearing from the movies. ... At one point, an attendee made a short jab at the dev panel when they said that his profession was due to get some love but that love was not on the schedule yet and it would be at least some time after JTLS was released. After the attendee took his poke at the devs (which actually wasn't all that bad: all he said was 'So I can expect my profession to get upgraded sometime in 2007?') the entire crowed booed him. Considering all the griping I've seen in the forums over my time, I've NEVER seen people stand up FOR the devs like that. Even the self-proclaimed "One Star Ninja" booed this poor guy. I've heard of tough crowds before but WOW! ... The favorite still seems to be the attendee who had a "great idea" for a perk for being a high-level Imperial officer. He wanted high-ranking Imperial players to be able to call in for an aerial bombardment strike from the Imperial Destroyer capital ships orbiting above the planet. This would enable those players to destroy parts or all of a rebel town. And some people wonder why the devs will never let players have a Death Star.. ... I won't be around for the final banquet dinner (I hear they are serving Ewok Filets and Muon Gold to wash it down with) [Bu mesaj draedan tarafından 06 Haziran 2004 11:51 tarihinde değiştirilmiştir] Link to comment Sosyal ağlarda paylaş Daha fazla paylaşım seçeneği…
