Are you ready to once again tread the jeweled thrones of Hyboria under your sandaled feet? Funcom is once again calling upon every strong arm and sharp sword to help us out in an up-coming technical beta test where you can experience exhilarating PvP combat!

Do you plan on participating in the next technical beta test? Please select YES or NO here, so that we can appropriately plan for your arrival into the world of Hyboria.

We have had a lot of success with our previous technical beta tests, receiving valuable feedback from our testers as well as collecting important data and numbers needed to progress in the development of the game. We hope that you will lend us your hand in this technical beta test, as it is an integral part of the development process.

Logging into the game

If you are a new tester, you will need to download the installer and client. Please access your account page on the Funcom web site (available at http://betaregister.ageofconan.com) and log in. A link to the appropriate beta client will be available there. If you are a new tester your key will be at the bottom of this email.

After signing up, you can download the technical beta client accessible through a link on your account page. We urge you to run the client and patch well ahead of time before the test starts.

Contents of the next test

On Sunday February 10, you will have the opportunity to log in and play for three hours in a Capture the Flag player-versus-player stress test.

After logging into the game, you will go through character creation and set up your character to your tastes. From there, you’ll be taken to Tortage’s lovely beach, where you can proceed into the jungle, tackle any challenge you come across, and familiarize yourself with your class and character. It will take about 15 to 30 minutes for you to reach the Acheronian Gate, just enough time to make sure you’ve got a grip on your character and class, and when you go through the gate, it’s time to PvP!

You will be teleported to the lobby, where you will see a large number of other players. Open up the social window (click on the two-people icon in the top-left corner of the screen) and select the PvP tab. Select “Capture the Flag” and “Ranked Match” and then click “Apply”. After being admitted into the PvP game, the aim is to kill enemy players (and possibly drive their lamenting women before you).

The goal of this test is to stress hardware and monitor game performance on your end, so all we need from you is to play the game normally—i.e. kill lots of people and have a good time—and report any bugs you find.

Reporting the bugs

Please note that you will be playing an older version of the game than what the Funcom developers are working on right now. We single out an older version of the game for testing purposes in order to get the correct data we need. This means that some of the bugs you encounter might be fixed in a more recent version of the game. Please use the “Bug Report” button in-game to report any bugs and issues you may encounter.

The servers will be open at 19:00 CET on Sunday, February 10, and will be up for three hours. See the beta forums (http://forums.ageofconan.com/beta/) for more information.

We appreciate your dedication and your willingness to help us in the development of the game, and if you actively aid us in these tests we hope to also bring you into other tests in the future. With your constructive feedback we can truly realize the game’s potential!

2 mart günü yeni bir teknik beta var arkadaşlar yeni onay gelenlerede başarılar client i hemen update edin dün 2 gb update geldi bana

2 Mart'taki stress test için invite geldi bana, şu an indiriyorum da, 14,4 GB'lık parçayı indiriyorum, 20 saat diyor, ömrüm kuruyacak şerefsizim eheh.

ben şu an yaklaşık 600mb lık 12 parça çekiyorum. onun dışında bide patch mi var 8-O pazar'a kadar biter inşallah :)
