Age of Conan Beta starts- oh yeah

Greetings,

Are you ready to tread the jeweled thrones of Hyboria under your sandaled feet? This is your chance . Funcom would very much like to see you in the next phase of the Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures technical beta test going live on Thursday this week.

We have had a lot of success with our previous technical beta tests, receiving valuable feedback from our testers as well as collecting important data and numbers needed to progress in the development of the game. We hope that you will lend us your hand in this technical beta test, as it is an integral part of the development process.

Thursday this week we will launch a new technical beta test that will go on for about three hours. During that time you can log in and play to your heart.s desire, and this time around you will be given free access to the very start of the game . the pirate-infested island of Tortage. We urge you to play the game and develop your character naturally by doing quests, killing enemies and socializing with fellow players. Please note that there are known issues in this version of the game including, but not limited to, the following:

. Some people may experience resource load issues such as missing animations.
. Some quests may not resolve or play out as they should.
. Collision detection is turned off on certain creatures and NPCs.
. The interface for the feat system is turned off and feat points are distributed automatically for all characters during this test.
. Several elements, including both graphics and gameplay, are work-in-progress.

We would also like to point out that you will be playing a scaled-down version of the full game, and some aspects will be missing. We have created this version in order to secure the specific technical data that we need, and we are therefore not looking for gameplay feedback. For this particular test we are planning to stress the servers with an unusually high number of players in small areas, and across numerous instances. As a result of this we would like to warn that server crashes are likely to occur.

Please use the Age of Conan beta forums (http://forums.ageofconan.com/beta/index.php) when providing your valuable feedback and opinions to the developers. We also encourage you to use the beta forums as a tool for communicating with your fellow testers. For bugs and other issues you encounter, use the in-game .Report Bug. button.

Note that this technical beta test will go live on Thursday, October 18th at 18:00 CET and will last for about three hours. You will not be able to log in and play before that.


How to log in and play using the technical beta client

As you are a new player who has not previously been invited into the technical beta, let us first begin by welcoming you to Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures. If you do not have a Funcom account you will need to create one now, and you will also need to register your technical beta key through the account page in order to gain access to the test.

evet ben de girmisim, open beta mi degil mi anlamadim ama seker olmus.

Mail yaklasık 10 dakka once geldi, direk post ettim buraya.

Invite yeni başladı zaten, birinci haftanın sonunda başvurmuştum bende.

3 parca client var, 1.6 gig*3 yuvarlak hesap 5 gig ama iniyor maşallah 210 la.

Technical beta nın baslangıcı, ilk 3 saatte stress test le abanacaklar server a, ardından yaklasık 3 gün down kalacak server. Full release ile betaya devam edip etmemeyi kararlaştıracaklarmış. Olmazsa bu versiyonla devam edilecekmiş.

Kuvvetle muhtemel ilk 3 saatte server iner aşşağı 1 ay kanırırlar :D

Evvel zamanda Dark and Light in beta stress test denemesin de binlerce adam zıplayarak serverı indirmişti (çin, zıplama tanıdık geldimi? :D ) pek zevkli oluyor, mail ler check edin surekli.

First of all, thank you all very much for being patient. Here is a little update on whats going on.

We are currently putting the final touches on a new patching system. This has been one of the things holding back inviting all of you to the general beta. Yes, thats what I said. As soon as we feel that the system is up to par we will be inviting ALL current tech testers into the general beta.

You will have access to both the tech tests, and the general beta and we hope that you will join us in testing both when they are available.

We do have another tech test planned, but we do not have an estimated date yet.

Back to the general beta news... We don't have an exact date on that either, but it will be soon. As soon as I have more info on dates, I will let you know.

Bir mailimi oyun daha yeni yeni duyurulmusken kayıt etmiştim birinide aylar ( hatta yıl ) sonra baska mailimi tekrar kayıt ettirdim öncekini hatırlamadıgımdan ( çok zaman geçmişti ) baktım ama 2 sinde de tık yok :). Acaba USA - Europe diye ayırtmı ediyorlar ?

Oyun başlayınca;

Deniz ortasında iki tane gemi , biri kaçıyor diğeri üstündeki catapult dan alev topları fırlatıyor.

Kaçan gemide Köle başı bağırınıp duruyor, daha hızlı vs şeklinde. Pruva direğine çıplak bir hatun köle zincirlenmiş felan gayet kaotik conan evrenine uygun bir sahne oluşturmuşlar :)

Karakter seçme ekranı burası, kölelerden biri oluyorsunuz.

Sonra birden bir sahilde uyanıyorsunuz, bir tane mentor kılıgında amca var, senin gibi başka kurtulanlar da var şekilnde dialoga baslıyor...

Main quest dışında bir tane de yan quest yaptım, yani questi veren aplaya direk hasta oldum lol (18+ mature).

Grafikler aşmış ötesi, combat ı iddia edilenin aksine tamamen değiştirilmemiş combolar saga sola kacmalar gayet hızlı ve anlamlı. Herkezin şikayet ettiği karakterler mal gibi dolanıyor, ayakları yerde hissiati uyandırmıyor sendromu ise dynamic shadows namına birşey yok şu anda, shadow olmayınca adam tabii ki yere basamıor adam gibi (görsel anlamda).

Bu sabah tan öğlene kadar oynadım, server açık , çok fazla alman ve fransız var avrupa tech beta sanırım o yuzden. Perşembeyi beklemeyin :)

Gladmir , bilg. config nedir senin büyük ihtimalle seçim yaparken DXDiag.txt dosyasını öncellikli kriter olarak tutuyorlar sanırım.

ben vala giremedim bile betaya hehe, geldi invite, indirdim dosyayi falan patchi yaptim hersey hazir sonra heycanla login olmaya calistim
olamadim 1.5 saat ve biraktim ben de. pazar gunu yine acacaklarmis serveri insallah o zaman anlarim oyunu biraz daha.
