maxrep Mesaj tarihi: Nisan 7, 2006 Paylaş Mesaj tarihi: Nisan 7, 2006 Publish 28 brings SWG new armor changes. In addition to the removal of armor certs and hidrances, allowing all non-Jedi characters from wearing any type of armor at the beginning of phase 2 (lvl 22 for combat players), Jedi-only clothing armor has been introduced. It seems that a lot of people posting in the Jedi forum do not understand how the armor system works. This guide is based on how "normal armor" works and will be updated as more information is available for the new Jedi "clothing armor." To see the original armor guide click here How much protection does one piece give me? http://img89.imageshack.us/my.php?image=screenshot00030di.jpg (pants) http://www.imagedump.com/index.cgi?pick=get&tp=399809 (pants) http://www.imagedump.com/index.cgi?pick=get&tp=399072 ("jackets" http://www.imagedump.com/index.cgi?pick=get&tp=399073 (shirts) http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=ngejedi&message.id=190629 (image thread - currently being updated) resmi direk eklemek istedim fakat nasıl yapılıyor ? At least for regular armor, different pieces have different weights of protection Chest = 36% (35.71%) Pants = 21% (21.43%) Helmet = 14% (14.27%) Arm Pieces = 7% each (7.15%) So wearing only a chestplate with 6k stats to all, for example, would only provide you with 2142 protection (36% * 6000). A chestplate and leggings would provide 3428. So additionaly pieces do combine to provide more protection, but they do not simply add together like stat mod items like bracelets and the old clothing. What do the armor protection numbers mean? How much damage do they block? The "Armor rating" converst to percent damage blocked as follows: 1000 = 10.5% 2000 = 20.0% 3000 = 28.5% 4000 = 36.0% 5000 = 42.5% 6000 = 48.0% 7000 = 52.5% Speculation about how any of this applies to Jedi clothing armor: Right now there is not enough informtation from testcenter or from the devs to know exactly how this information carries over from "regular armor" to Jedi "clothing armor." For example, we don't yet know how clothing shirts/jackets/hats (or cloaks) will compare to armor chest/arms/helmet, but my guess is the total upper body will still equal the total upper body. My guess is that there will be no "jedi armor" shirts, only jackets/vests, and that these will count as chest and arms. This would apply to hood down cloaks as well since they fill the jacket slots, while hood up cloaks should also use the helmet slot as well. If true then the following numbers would apply, but this could be completely off if shirts do drop and hats don't for example. OR if the weight of each piece does not match what they take up. Jacket/Vest/Hood down cloak = 64% Pants = 21% Hat = 14% Hood up cloak = 79% Pants = 21% While I think these weights make sense based on clothing slots, it seems to put way too much onto the cloaks which are already such high stats. Maybe as more info comes in from TC we can find out if armor shirts do drop and how they contribute. Why are the clothing and regular armor drops so ugly? This is what red name Tunso had to say about the colors of the drops. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Since the hueing is random it is entirely possible that you could get a drop that is a color you don't like. It is also possible you will get a color you do like. The alternative was to do no hueing and have every piece of clothing and armor come out as the default hue. I didn't like that idea." Mark "Tunso" Halash Systems Designer -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Why do these stats suck so bad? Again an explanation from Tunso: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "...you don't feel the protection values are competitive. In a lot of cases, you will be correct. Every drop is not going to be stellar. In fact, a lot of drops will be only so-so. In general, you are going to get the best protections from crafted armor. The very best level 90 armor drops can have protections that rival high end crafted. But drops like these will be rare so don't expect to find one (let alone a full suit of it) in every single play session."
