The Mage class is indeed a damage-dealing class. Any confusion about your role is self-inflicted -- the class role is stated on the Mage page for all to see.

Eyonix is simply a conduit of your feedback to the development staff. I've heard these talks, and he certainly hasn't disregarded what players are saying in any capacity. He does let the developers know how you feel...

...but the developers are allowed to make decisions based on what they feel is best for the game as a whole.

Listening does not necessarily equate to changing the class to fit your perfect dream of what a Mage should be. Your feedback has been heard, and changes have been implemented because of it.

There are some bugs, yes, and they are slated to be fixed; they're not being ignored. According to the developers, the Mage is one of the most complete classes in the game at the moment -- and this is from designers who both made and play the class. They're not relying solely on Eyonix to tell them what you're saying, and Eyonix isn't the only one who relays Mage feedback.

In short -- they've heard what you have to say, but hearing it does not mean they will bow to your wishes. They do what they feel is best for the game. Your insults regarding the Blizzard staff and your crossposting for this to receive more views are both against policy, and I warn you against breaching forum rules further.
